- Optional: 1 tablespoon coconut oil (helps create smoother chocolate coating)
Instructions
- Preparation
- Ensure almonds are dehydrated and at room temperature
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper

- Place chocolate (chopped or chips) in the top bowl
- Heat water to a gentle simmer, not boiling
- Stir chocolate constantly until completely melted
- Add coconut oil if using, for a smoother consistency
Alternative microwave method:
- Place chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl
- Heat in 20-second intervals
- Stir thoroughly between each interval
- Continue until fully melted and smooth
- Coating Process
- Add almonds to the melted chocolate
- Gently stir until each almond is thoroughly coated
- Work quickly while the chocolate remains warm
- Use two forks to lift almonds and allow excess chocolate to drip off
- Setting the Chocolate
- Place coated almonds on the prepared baking sheet
- Space them slightly apart to prevent sticking
- Sprinkle with desired toppings while the chocolate is still wet.
- Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes until completely set
