Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Wash the bell peppers, cut off the tops, and remove the seeds.
- In a bowl, cook the ground beef or turkey with the chopped onion until browned, then drain any extra fat.
- Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and shredded cheese.
- Spoon the filling into each pepper, topping with extra cheese if desired.
- Place the peppers upright in the air fryer basket.
Cooking
- Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted.
- Let sit for two minutes before serving.
Notes
Check at 10 minutes; air fryer models cook differently. Add time if peppers are still firm. Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 350°F.
