  • 1 pinch salt Enhances the flavor of the bread.
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Can be adjusted for sweetness.
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil Can substitute with melted butter.
  • 2 large eggs Room temperature eggs work best.
  • 1 cup diced apples Use a mix of Granny Smith and Honeycrisp.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix together granulated sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Add diced apples to the wet mixture and combine.
  5. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
Baking
  1. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
