Main ingredients
  • 12 pieces slider rolls Fresh and soft for best results.
  • 1 pound sliced beef Can substitute with turkey or chicken if desired.
  • 8 ounces sliced cheese Use your favorite cheese varieties.
Topping mixture
  • 1/2 cup butter Melted.
  • 2 tablespoons mustard Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds Optional for added flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the sliced beef and cheese generously on the rolls.
  4. Place the top halves back on the rolls, creating sandwiches.
Topping application
  1. In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in mustard and poppy seeds.
  2. Brush the mixture over the top of the rolls.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  2. Once done, let them cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Choose fresh, soft slider rolls for the best texture. You can customize the sliders with different types of cheese or toppings. Let the sliders sit for a few minutes after baking for easier serving.
