  • 2 fillets salmon fillets Fresh, skinless salmon fillets recommended.
  • 4 oz Boursin cheese Can substitute with other soft cheeses if desired.
  • to taste Fresh chives, chopped Add according to preference.
  • as needed Lemon wedges For serving.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • as needed tbsp Olive oil Use extra virgin for better flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread a generous amount of Boursin cheese over each salmon fillet.
  6. Sprinkle chopped chives on top of the cheese.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Serve with lemon wedges for a zesty finish.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry before seasoning for a better crust. Feel free to experiment with other herbs like dill or parsley. Adding sliced tomatoes or asparagus can enhance the dish.
