Ingredients

Brownie Ball Ingredients
  • 1 cup brownie crumbs, from baked brownies or store-bought
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk or enough to bind
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted, for coating
  • Sprinkles or chopped nuts optional

Method

Preparation
  1. Break or crumble baked brownies into fine crumbs in a bowl, or pulse in a food processor.
  2. Add cocoa powder and melted butter to the crumbs, mix well.
  3. Stir in sweetened condensed milk a little at a time, mix until the mix holds together. You want a soft, moldable dough.
  4. Scoop small spoonfuls and roll into balls with clean hands, about 1 inch each.
  5. Place balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment and chill in the fridge for 15 to 30 minutes to firm up.
Coating
  1. Melt chocolate chips in a bowl over hot water or in short bursts in the microwave, stirring until smooth.
  2. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate to coat, use a fork to lift and tap off extra chocolate.
  3. Add sprinkles or chopped nuts while the chocolate is wet, then place back on parchment.
  4. Chill again until the chocolate sets, about 10 to 20 minutes. Serve at room temperature.

Notes

Chill the mix before shaping to help them hold their shape. Use clean hands or gloves to roll. Adjust texture with more condensed milk or brownie crumbs as needed. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
