Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the yeast mixture along with eggs and softened butter.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
Shaping and Second Rise
  1. After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into equal pieces.
  2. Flatten each piece and place a spoonful of custard and chocolate chips in the center. Fold and shape into brioches.
  3. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Bake the brioches for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious confections!

Notes

Tips for success: Make sure your milk is warm, knead the dough thoroughly, let the dough rise in a draft-free environment, and don't rush the baking time for best results.
