Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  2. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  2. Serve at room temperature with coffee or tea, or dress it up with ice cream and caramel sauce.

Notes
