Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, orange zest, brown sugar, honey, and a pinch of salt. Cook on medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10-15 minutes.
- Season the turkey breast with salt and pepper and place it in a roasting pan.
- Brush a generous amount of the cranberry-orange mixture over the turkey, reserving some glaze for later.
Cooking
- Roast the turkey in the oven for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Baste the turkey with the reserved glaze every 30 minutes for added flavor and moisture.
- Once done, let the turkey rest for about 20 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Ensure the turkey is not overcooked by using a meat thermometer. For extra flavor, consider marinating the turkey overnight with some of the glaze. Simmer the glaze longer if you desire a thicker consistency.
