Method
Preparation
- Gather your ingredients: boneless chicken breasts, pasta, Cajun seasoning, garlic, cream, chicken broth, and Parmesan cheese.
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
- Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest before slicing it into strips.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for a minute.
- Then, add the cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until well combined and creamy.
- Return the sliced chicken to the skillet and add the cooked pasta. Toss everything together to coat the pasta in the sauce.
- Let it cook for an additional couple of minutes so the flavors meld together.
Serving
- Serve a generous portion of the pasta on a plate, including creamy sauce and sliced chicken.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or extra Parmesan cheese.
Notes
Best served hot. Can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen for 2-3 months. Reheat with added chicken broth or cream to maintain creaminess.
