- Wash and slice the cucumbers and tomatoes.
- Place cucumber slices on a serving plate.
- Add mozzarella and tomato pieces on top.
- Sprinkle torn basil over the salad.
- Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar evenly.
- Season with salt and black pepper, taste, and adjust.
- Serve right away for best crunch, or chill for 10 minutes.
Notes
Pat cucumber slices dry if very wet to prevent watery dressing. Let salad sit for 5-10 minutes after dressing for flavor melding, but serve quickly to avoid sogginess.
