Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Coat each cod strip with olive oil, then dip it in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the cod strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is flaky and golden.
- While the cod is baking, prepare the creamy lemon sauce by mixing sour cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
- Once the cod is done, serve it hot with the creamy lemon sauce on the side.
Notes
Keep an eye on the cod while it’s baking to prevent overcooking, as fish can dry out quickly. You can substitute cod with other white fish like tilapia or haddock if you prefer.
