Ingredients
  

Shrimp Ingredients
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh shrimp is preferable, but frozen can be used if properly thawed.
  • 1/4 cup honey Adjust sweetness as desired.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Increase for saltiness if preferred.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the shrimp.
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes Optional, for added heat.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Cooking
  1. Add shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  2. Pour the honey mixture over the shrimp, and add red pepper flakes if desired. Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens.
  3. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for better flavor, and don't overcook to avoid toughness. Customize sauce ingredients to your taste.
