- Gather your ingredients and let your little one see, smell, and touch the colorful produce.
- Wash everything thoroughly to keep things clean.
- Get your medium pot for steaming and a blender (or food processor) ready.
Cooking
- Add your chopped carrots and sweet potato to the pot with a cup of water. Steam for about 15 minutes until tender.
- Once the veggies are ready, add them to your blender along with spinach, banana, apple, and water (or broth).
- Blend until smooth, adding more liquid if necessary to reach the desired consistency.
Assembly and Storage
- Taste test the puree to check the flavor.
- Portion into small baby food containers or ice cube trays for easy portioning.
- Let cool completely before sealing. Store in the fridge for up to three days or freeze for future use.
