Ingredients
  

Meatball Mixture
  • 1 lb ground turkey Can substitute with ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Use fresh or dried
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh for best flavor
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Glaze
  • 1/3 cup honey Adjust to preferred sweetness
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use low-sodium for a healthier option
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, and black pepper until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
Baking
  1. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
Glazing
  1. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the glaze by mixing honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl.
  2. Once the meatballs are done, pour the warm glaze over them to coat.

Notes

To ensure perfect meatballs, do not overmix the meat and check for doneness with a meat thermometer (internal temperature of 165°F).
