Brownie Ingredients
  • 1 cup melted butter Ensure butter is unsalted.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs Add one at a time.
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder Use unsweetened.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Cheesecake Ingredients
  • 8 ounces cream cheese Softened to room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs Add one at a time.
Toppings
  • 3 bars Milky Way bars Chopped.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Gradually fold in sugar, cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy, then add some sugar and vanilla extract.
  6. Incorporate the eggs into the cream cheese mixture, one at a time, mixing well.
Baking
  1. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
  2. Pour the cheesecake mixture on top, then sprinkle the chopped Milky Way bars.
  3. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the cheesecake is set and edges pull away from the pan.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Allow the brownies to cool completely, then refrigerate before slicing.
  2. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream, and drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

Store cut brownies in an airtight container. For longer storage, freeze wrapped brownie squares up to three months.
