Preparation
- Season the boneless chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes on each side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Making the Sauce
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the fresh basil and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add the seared chicken back to the skillet and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Cover the skillet and let the cheese melt for a few minutes.

Always ensure that your chicken is cooked through but not overcooked. For a unique twist, try sautéing some onions or adding a splash of white wine while cooking the garlic.
