  • 1 can crescent roll dough Alternatively, use puff pastry or pizza dough.
  • 1 tablespoon cooking spray For greasing the baking sheet.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven according to the crescent roll dough package instructions.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into thin strips.
  3. Wrap the dough strips around each hot dog, leaving space for the faces.
Baking
  1. Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Allow the mummies to cool slightly, then decorate with mustard or candy eyes.
  2. Serve on a platter with dipping sauces and festive decorations.

Notes

For an extra crispy texture, brush melted butter on the dough before baking. You can prepare the mummies ahead of time and bake just before serving.
