Preparation
- In a medium bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers with melted butter until well combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x9 inch baking dish to form the crust.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Allow it to cool slightly before pouring it over the cream cheese layer.
- Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the gelatin layer, ensuring they are well distributed.
- Refrigerate the dessert for at least four hours, or until the gelatin is set.
- Once set, cut into squares and serve chilled. You can add extra strawberries as a garnish if desired.
Notes
Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor. Ensure to refrigerate for the full four hours for proper gelatin setting. Can add other fruits like blueberries or raspberries for a twist.
