  • 1 cup ginger ale For a fizzy twist.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the apple cider in a pot on the stove until warm, but not boiling.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine whiskey or rum with ground cinnamon and ice. Shake well.
Assembly
  1. Fill glasses about halfway with warm apple cider.
  2. Pour the shaken mixture over the cider.
  3. Optional: Drizzle caramel syrup or add ginger ale for sweetness and fizz.
  4. Garnish with apple slices or a cinnamon stick.

Notes

To serve warm, use pre-warmed glasses. For cold servings, arrange glasses with ice. Rimming glasses with cinnamon sugar is a fun optional touch.
