Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
  • 1 cup frozen banana slices Slice bananas before freezing to prevent sticking.
  • 1 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt Full-fat yogurt gives a creamier texture.
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness based on fruit tartness.
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk or fruit juice Add for a thinner texture if desired.

Method

Preparation
  1. Combine frozen strawberries, frozen banana slices, and Greek yogurt in a high-speed blender or food processor.
  2. Pulse a few times to break up large chunks, then scrape the sides with a spoon.
  3. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, adding a splash of milk or juice if needed.
  4. Taste the yogurt and adjust sweetness with honey or maple syrup and, if desired, stir in a teaspoon of lemon juice.
  5. For a thicker consistency, freeze for 10 to 20 minutes after blending.
  6. Scoop into bowls to serve, or enjoy it immediately as soft serve.

Notes

Use ripe fruit for maximum flavor and avoid adding too much liquid so the yogurt remains spoonable. Store leftovers in an airtight container with plastic wrap pressed on the surface to prevent crystals.
