  • 1 pound fresh shrimp Diced
  • 1/2 cup lime juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup tomatoes Chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion Chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro Chopped
  • 1 medium jalapeño Chopped, adjust according to spice preference

Preparation
  1. Dice the fresh shrimp and place it in a bowl.
  2. Pour lime juice over the shrimp, ensuring it is fully submerged.
  3. Let the shrimp marinate for 30-60 minutes until they turn opaque.
  4. While the shrimp marinates, chop the tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and jalapeño.
  5. Mix the chopped ingredients into the marinated shrimp.
  6. Stir well and let it chill in the refrigerator for a short while.

Notes

Serve with crispy tortilla chips or on fresh greens. It can also be paired with avocado slices, perfect for parties. Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two days.
