Ingredients
  

Mushroom Filling
  • 12 large fresh mushrooms Choose portobello or button varieties.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened For a creamy texture.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Add your favorite type.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs For texture.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For flavor.
  • to taste herbs (e.g., parsley, oregano) Choose to add your favorites.
Eyeball Decoration
  • 6 whole black olives Cut in half for eye detail.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms by wiping them down with a damp cloth and carefully remove the stems.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, minced garlic, and breadcrumbs until combined.
  4. Season the mixture with your favorite herbs.
  5. Fill each mushroom cap with the creamy mixture.
  6. Cut olives in half and place them on top of each stuffed mushroom.
Cooking
  1. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking dish.
  2. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  3. Let them cool slightly and enjoy!

Notes

These can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking. Serve with dipping sauces like marinara or garlic aioli.
